HaciendaDon Pedro

For other small farmers

We're writing the playbook we wish we'd had.

Six years of mistakes, a research license, a small pastured flock, an Asian pear orchard, and a working farm OS built for families like ours. We're publishing it so you don't have to start from zero.

01

Start small. On purpose.

Twenty trees, a hundred birds, a half acre — not a thousand of anything. The smallest farm that can still feed a family, teach a lesson, and turn a profit if you run it right.

02

Build the soil first.

JADAM-style natural farming. Farm-made inputs, animals that work, zero synthetics. The soil becomes the asset; everything else follows from it.

03

Let the software run it.

A farm OS that handles plant mapping, planting schedules, harvest and maintenance calendars, contractor payments, accounting, compliance, inventory, and commerce. Automation-first, mobile-first, built to run while you sleep.

The tools

The same platform that runs Hacienda Don Pedro
can run yours.

Your farm. Your brand. Your voice. This site is what Hacienda Don Pedro looks like; yours will look like you.

This whole website, the admin dashboard behind it, the plant map, the planting and harvest calendars, the maintenance schedule, contractor payments and accounting, compliance tracking, the inventory QR scans, the class bookings and campout reservations, the crop data pipeline and the drone media library — it's one custom-built system we call the Serranix Farm OS.

We built it for our own farm, because none of the off-the-shelf farm software actually fit. Turns out we're not the only ones. Everything underneath is the same Farm OS — but every farm gets its own identity on top: your logo, your palette, your story, your domain. Not a template with your name swapped in.

Starter tiers are priced like a small SaaS subscription. Enterprise builds are priced like a serious one-time investment. Either way, AI does most of the heavy lifting under the hood so it doesn't cost what custom software normally costs.

Who this was built for

For the farms the big platforms weren't built with in mind.

Veterans. If you've run a tight operation before, you already have most of what this work asks for. We'd be glad to help you put it to work on a piece of land.

Bilingual and Spanish-speaking growers. Every screen runs in English and Spanish from day one. We built it that way because a lot of the best farmers we know have never had software that met them where they work.

First-generation farmers. You don't need a family fortune or a hundred acres to start. Good soil, honest methods, a clear compliance path, and a system that keeps running on the days life gets in the way — that's usually enough.

Research-curious cultivators. If you're thinking about a research license or a microbusiness license — in New York or anywhere else — we've walked that road and are happy to share what we learned so yours is shorter.

If you're ready to start your own, we're ready to help.
